Vacancies of the week: Pixonic, Trace Studio and Siklarda are looking for employees

We are publishing a new list with gaming vacancies. This week we are looking for: a game designer at Pixonic, a project manager at Trace Studio and a game designer at Siklarda.

Marina LopatinaGame designer at Pixonic (Moscow, Russia)


Pixonic was founded in 2009 and specializes in the development of midcore shooters with deep meta on the GaAs model (game as a service or “game service”).

The company’s flagship game is War Robots. Now Pixonic is looking for a game designer for an unannounced PC project on Unreal Engine.

Responsibilities:

  • full cycle of game content development: from concept pitch to engine assembly and metrics analytics;
  • constant analysis and development of proposals to improve existing content, gameplay, systems and individual elements;
  • writing technical assignments and working documentation;
  • close interaction with the project team (with the art department, developers, testers);
  • working with statistics and analytical tools.

Requirements:

  • experience working with content (creative + implementation);
  • experience in the engine (Unreal Engine will be a plus, but Unity is also possible);
  • experience in writing technical tasks.

War RobotsProject Manager at Trace Studio (Saint Petersburg, Russia)


Trace Studio is a gaming outsourcer who has worked on art for Activision Blizzard, Sony, Deep Silver, CD PROJEKT RED, ZeniMax, Larian Studios and other companies. He needs a capable project manager.

Responsibilities:

  • to help projects grow and develop with timely and effective management decisions;
  • create and optimize processes that are easy to maintain and scale;
  • control the timing and volume of production;
  • plan and allocate company resources;
  • analyze the indicators of production, profitability, resources, prospects;
  • communicate a lot: with the team, HR, management and partners.

Requirements:

  • quickly and losslessly transmit information and work with feedback: issue, receive, process;
  • go through and control all stages of the management cycle;
  • see the “whole picture”: your projects, colleagues’ projects, relationships and weaknesses;
  • work with tables at the advanced user level (formulas, filters, data arrays);
  • find the best or non-obvious win-win solutions;
  • speak English at the Upper Intermediate+ level.

Art for Ghost of TsushimaGame designer at Siklarda (Saint Petersburg, Russia)


Siklarda studio develops games in the genre of interactive cinema and visual narrative.

One of her most famous projects is Make Her Laugh. Now the studio needs a game designer.

Requirements:

  • experience working on frituplein projects, including those released on Google Play or the App Store;
  • development of game mechanics and features;
  • improving the balance and monetization of the project.
  • ability to work with analytical data.
