The first award for HR achievements in the gaming industry has been announced

HR platform for job search in the gaming industry Talentsingames.com together with the organizers of the White Nights Conference, they announced the launch of the “Game Dev HR Awards“. This is the first annual award dedicated to game recruiting and HR work in the industry.

“The gaming industry is, first of all, people, and we want to mention those who are engaged in team selection, help to build communications within the company, are responsible for team building and not only – I can’t list everything!”, the organizers note.

Implemented projects from different HR fields can be nominated for the award. There are no restrictions in areas and topics. This may include achievements in the following areas:

  • recruitment;
  • employee training and development;
  • internal communications;
  • corporate events;
  • employee retention and motivation;
  • automation of HR processes;
  • adaptation of employees;
  • analytics;
  • performance management;
  • HR brand.

Both individual employees and entire HR departments of game development companies can apply for participation with the project.

The winners will be chosen by the jury of the award. Independently of each other, they will evaluate each project according to six criteria: innovation, relevance, creativity, ROI, ambition and results.

Among the members of the jury including: Maria Iogman, who heads the recruiting department at Playrix; Mikhail Pritula, who was previously responsible for HR at Wargaming and Alfa-Bank; Tatiana Loktionova, founder of the recruiting agency Values Value; Ilya Fedosov, Director of Recruitment Development at Mail.Ru Group; Yulia Vinokurova, COO at Game Insight; Galina Tokareva, VP HR & Administration in Stack by Appodeal, and others.

Applications are accepted until September 29. The announcement of the results and awarding of the winners will take place in Moscow on October 17 at the White Nights Moscow 2019 business conference for the gaming industry.
