The winners of the "Game Dev HR Awards 2022" were Playkot and MYTONA

Recruiting agency Talents In Games summed up the results of the open voting for the award “Game Dev HR Awards 2022“. The game studios Playkot and MYTONA turned out to be the winners by a large margin in terms of votes cast.

In the nominations “Best Support” and “Best relocation“, the company MYTONA, founded in Yakutia, won. She is known for such mobile blockbusters as Seekers Notes and Cooking Diary. Now the company is preparing for the publication of The Day Before, a large-scale survival for PC and consoles.

In the summer, Forbes, based on unofficial sources, reported that MYTONA interviewed employees about relocation plans. It was reported about the readiness of the publishing legal entity MYTONA, located in Singapore, to conclude direct contracts with those moving with payment in dollars.

In the nomination “Best Support“, the winner was the Playkot studio based in St. Petersburg. She is known primarily for the sitebuilder for social networks “Supercity” and the Age of Magic mobile battler. This summer, the studio had a successful launch of the Spring Valley free-play casual game.

The company has not publicly announced what difficulties and challenges it has faced in the field of HR this year. However, in its own social networks, the company posted a pool of vacancies with further relocation to the Serbian office.

In addition to Playkot and MYTONA, the survey participants (primarily readers of the App2Top publication, which acted as an information partner of the initiative) mentioned many other companies: Ravenage, Playrix, MY.GAMES, Owlcat Games, G5, Beresnev Games, AppQuantum, Glera games, Saber Interactive, Belka Games, Murka, Valve, as well as Black Caviar Games and Infusion Games.

A total of 390 people participated in the voting, which was launched on December 21.
