Vacancies of the week: ZiMAD, AIRICORE and ExoGenesis are looking for employees

We are publishing a new list with gaming vacancies. This week they are wanted: a game designer at ZiMAD, a CG Generalist at AIRICORE and a senior 2D concept environment artist at ExoGenesis.

Game designer at ZiMAD (Remote work)


ZiMAD is a company engaged in mobile games since 2009.

On her account such games as Magic Jigsaw Puzzles, Jigsaw Puzzle Villa, Dominoes Online, Magic Cross Stitch, Dig Out!. Together, these and other ZiMAD mobile titles have collected over 200 million downloads.

Now ZiMAD needs a game designer in the project team. He will have to deal with the gameplay and develop the game’s product metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • development of game features and support of their implementation;
  • improving balance, game mechanics, monetization;
  • writing concept documents and design documents;
  • participation in regular meetings of the team, communication with designers and programmers;
  • testing and verifying the correctness of the implementation;
  • development of A/B tests to test hypotheses;
  • constant game analysis and analysis of the results of new mechanics;
  • monitoring competitors’ applications and searching for potentially interesting features among games of different genres.

Requirements:

  • experience working on games that have reached release and released in the App Store or Google Play;
  • knowledge and understanding of game metrics: DAU, ARPPU, Retention and others;
  • ability to work with analytical data;
  • knowledge of English at the Upper Intermediate level.

Magic Jigsaw PuzzlesCG Generalist in Airicore (Limassol, Cyprus)


AIRICORE is a mobile game developer with its head office in Cyprus.

First of all, the team specializes in hypercausal projects. The studio is looking for a person who will be responsible for the art of games.

Responsibilities:

  • rendering art on projects entrusted to the area of responsibility;
  • working with complex scenes, compositions;
  • evaluation of the current art;
  • building a pipeline for the formation of the visual style of projects.

Requirements:

  • work experience as an artist in game development for at least four years, preferably on mobile projects;
  • confident mastery of Blender, Photoshop or analogs;
  • relevant portfolio;
  • sociability and willingness to work in a team;
  • the ability to competently argue and give / receive feedback;
  • love of games.

Ladder GuysSenior 2D Concept Environment Artist at ExoGenesis (Remote Work)


ExoGenesis is a young game studio developing console and PC games.

She is currently working on a metroidvania in a dark setting inspired by the Ori and Hollow Knight series. To draw the environment in this project, the company needs a senior-level 2D artist.

Responsibilities:

  • rendering and design of assets of game locations;
  • creating detailed concepts of parts of the environment;
  • creating concept art environments with an emphasis on atmosphere and materials;
  • creating concepts of props and structures;
  • final rendering of graphic content;
  • ability to work on time.

Requirements:

  • portfolio with examples of work on the environment;
  • ability to work with light, silhouette and physics of materials;
  • skill in the design of props, architecture, flora and technological elements;
  • experience in Photoshop;
  • owning a 3D package will be a plus.
