Another veteran has left Bethesda. Now it is the designer of the Fallout 4 and Starfield quests
Pete Hines, the head of the company's publishing division, announced his departure from Bethesda just yesterday. Shortly after, it became known that Bethesda's design director William Shen had also left.
Shen started his career at Bethesda almost 15 years ago and spent most of his time working on quest design. He has had a hand in games such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Fallout 4, Fallout 76 and Starfield.
Shen announced that he had already got a job at another gaming company. He took the position of lead content designer at Something Wicked Games studio. It was opened in 2022 by Jeff Gardiner, the former head of development of Fallout 76, along with several other Bethesda veterans, as well as former employees of Obsidian Entertainment.
