Naughty Dog has left the chief designer for the monetization of the multiplayer The Last of Us
The network noticed that Anders Howard, the chief monetization designer, left Naughty Dog. He was engaged in a multiplayer game in the world of The Last of Us.
Howard has not publicly announced his departure, but his LinkedIn profile indicates that he left Naughty Dog in September 2023.
Howard worked at Naughty Dog for just under a year: he joined the studio in November 2022. Prior to that, he was a senior system designer at Ubisoft and Epic Games. In the latter, the developer worked for seven years and during his work helped "form the core of the strategy for the development of combat passes" Fortnite.
Earlier this week, Kotaku sources said that Naughty Dog was having serious problems with The Last of Us multiplayer. The studio did not cancel the game, but actually froze it. Kotaku also reported that Naughty Dog has fired at least 25 freelance employees.
