NetEase has opened a new studio. It was headed by a former lead designer of Control
China’s NetEase has announced the launch of another foreign studio — anchorPoint Studios. Her team includes developers Ghost of Tsushima, Red Dead Redemption 2, Control and The Division.
Paul Ehreth became the head of the studio. Prior to anchorPoint Studios, he was a director at Smilegate Barcelona, and a little earlier he worked at Remedy. At Remedy, he managed to work as the lead designer of Control and head of the Alan Wake 2 development team.
anchorPoint Studios is headquartered in Barcelona. The studio also has an office in Seattle.
It is known that anchorPoint Studios will develop action-adventure games for consoles and PC. But there are no details about her debut project yet.
