The authors of Call of Duty were accused of stealing the design of another skin
Two days ago, the Call of Duty Twitter account announced a new operative skin — Doomsayer. But gamers quickly noted its similarity to the Variant 402 skin from the game Deadrop, which is being developed by the Midnight Society studio.
Robert Bowling, co-founder of the studio and former creative strategist of Infinity Ward, showed the design of Variant 402 back in July. He did not appreciate the act of the authors of Call of Duty and urged at least to name the skin in his honor.
However, the Doomsayer skin is also similar to Simon “Ghost” Riley, one of the most famous Call of Duty characters.
