Playrix has released its new game in Canada – it's Match-3 about Austin again, only this time its mechanics are much closer to Candy Crush

Last week, the preliminary launch of a new game by the Russian company Playrix took place. The project is called Homescapes. This is a three-in-a-row, whose meta-gameplay repeats Gardenscapes one-on-one, but the root mechanics are no longer focused on Fishdom, but on the latest King projects, like Candy Crush Soda Saga.

If in the previous games of the company in the genre of three-in-a-row bonuses differed only in power and led to the accumulation of an additional bonus “Lightning”, then in the novelty there are more familiar entities for the genre, such as rockets removing a horizontal row, or balls taking all the chips of the same color from the field.

The comparison specifically with Soda Saga is due to the appearance of multi-screen levels and bonuses, like a “Paper Airplane”, which also works as a “Fish” bonus in the King game.

Apart from the changes in the root mechanics, Homescapes is a well–known Gardenscapes for casual players, the action of which has been transferred from the garden to the house of Austin’s parents, which users, passing through the levels, will have to repair.

According to App Annie, the game managed to achieve 104th place in the ranking of the most downloaded games in the Canadian App Store and 135 positions in the gaming box office top there.
