Revenue from mobile games will reach $34 billion by 2019
Revenue from games for smartphones and tablets will reach $34 billion by 2019, it became known from a study conducted by the gaming association Open Gaming Alliance.
According to forecasts, revenue from PC and console games will also grow. The latter, however, only until 2018. Then the revenue from projects on consoles will begin to decrease. In addition, revenue from handheld game consoles will fall. Open Gaming Alliance predicts that other platforms will displace them from the market.
The association’s data was provided by the analytical company DFC Intelligence.
