Gameloft overtook EA Mobile in the third quarter

Gameloft announced that in the third quarter of fiscal year 2013, it managed to earn $87.72 million.

This is 11% more than in the same period last year, a record figure for the company. Recall that for the same period, EA Mobile sales amounted to only $75 million.

The company also claims that 80% of its 2013 revenues came from projects released in 2012 and earlier.

As for the markets, the USA remains the most monetary for the company – 32% of sales. Europe and the Middle East account for 31%, and Latin America – 20%. Despite the rapid growth of the Chinese mobile market, Gameloft’s revenue share from the Asia-Pacific region is only 16%.

The other day, the company presented another game “based on” – “Thor 2″According to preliminary estimates, the company’s total revenue for fiscal year 2013 will be $320-325 million.

For comparison, in 2012 the company managed to earn $275mn.
