We are pleased that the results of the first quarter exceeded our forecasts. This was largely due to high productivity in China and good results in Korea, as well as a favorable situation in the global foreign exchange market,” said Seungwoo Choi, President and CEO of Nexon. – In addition, the recent acquisition of Gloops and inBlue makes us a major player in the mobile market and increases the revenue of our business. In addition, updates to the main games have been positively received by players around the world. In particular, this applies to the first Dungeon&Fighter update in China. We have also successfully launched Fifa 3 Online, the game is highly appreciated by the players and brings a good profit.”

Nexon has received most of its profits this year in China. At home in South Korea, Nexon’s profit amounted to about a quarter of all revenue. The North American market brought Nexon $13.8 million.
