Official sales of iPad mini in Russia will start this week
The retail chain of “apple products” re:Store announced the start of sales and the cost of the iPad mini.
The start date of sales of the miniature version of the iPad coincides with the appearance of the iPhone 5 on the Russian market. Both devices will officially start selling on December 14, although initially the iPad mini was planned to be launched on December 21.
Retail chain of re stores:The Store is already reporting a possible shortage of tablets. And judging by the price tag displayed on the retailer’s website, the main reason is the cost of the device.
For a 16 GB model with Wi-Fi support, the price is 14,990 rubles. (on the gray market, you can find the same tablet for 13,650 rubles.). For comparison, in the American market, the iPad mini costs $329 (10100 rubles), in the EU – 275 euros (11000 rubles).
The cost of an iPad mini with 32 GB on the Russian market will be 18,990 rubles. and with 64 GB – 22,990 rubles. The timing of the sale of 3G-enabled devices is not yet known.
