According to the developers, Phantom Blade Zero reached the milestone of 4 million copies sold within 72 hours of the game's release. It is noteworthy that a portion of these sales occurred during the pre-order phase that began in August. The exact amount is unknown, but analysts at Alinea Analytics previously estimated the pre-release sales of Phantom Blade Zero on Steam and PlayStation Store at approximately 850 thousand copies.
S-GAME's announcement did not detail sales breakdowns by platform, but the game is faring well on Steam. Over the weekend, the peak concurrent user count of the new release on Valve's platform surpassed 833.9 thousand people, making it the 14th highest peak in Steam's history.
Phantom Blade Zero is a Chinese action game where players assume the role of a fierce warrior named Soul. According to the plot, the hero has only 66 days to live and must use this time to seek revenge on his enemies, clear his name, and uncover a global conspiracy.
