Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced achieved its annual sales target within two weeks
In Ubisoft's latest financial report, the company also shared new sales data for the remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. They announced that within 14 days from its release, the game sold 3.5 million copies.

The company admitted that they initially expected to sell that number within a year, but Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced proved to be in high demand.
Here's the current sales trajectory for the game:
- 2 million copies — in 24 hours;
- 3 million copies — in one week;
- 3.5 million copies — in two weeks.
Ubisoft added that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced achieved the highest PC sales in the franchise's history. The exact number of copies sold on this platform is not specified, but it is known that the PC version sold best in the USA and China.
"We believe that all this demonstrates Ubisoft's ability to leverage well-established brands to create remakes that attract a new generation of gamers while allowing longtime fans to rediscover iconic games in a significantly improved form," stated Ubisoft's CFO Frédérick Duguet.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced was released on July 9, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
