The achievements of the game include:
- Within three months, MOUSE: P.I. for Hire has sold over one million copies, with half of these sales coming from consoles;
- 50% of the Steam version copies were purchased by users who had previously added MOUSE: P.I. for Hire to their wishlists;
- Overall, MOUSE: P.I. for Hire currently has 3.17 million wishlists across all platforms;
- As of today, MOUSE: P.I. for Hire has grossed $28.7 million in gross revenue—before refunds, platform fees, and taxes. After all deductions, PlaySide’s income from the game is $17.6 million, though the publisher still owes royalties to Fumi Games, so the final earnings for them will be less.
MOUSE: P.I. For Hire was released on April 16, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game quickly attracted attention and reimbursed all expenses incurred by PlaySide in less than a month. Currently, the game’s creators are working on a storyline expansion, set to be released by the end of the year.
