Sales of the co-op horror game MIMESIS have exceeded 2 million copies

KRAFTON, the parent company of the developers from ReLU Games studio, announced reaching the milestone.

MIMESIS

According to KRAFTON, MIMESIS has been selling better than usual recently. This surge was helped by a major update released in June, which not only added a fresh batch of content to the horror game but also changed the entire gameplay cycle. The company is pleased with the success of MIMESIS and plans to turn the title into a "large franchise" in the future.

Recall, MIMESIS is a cooperative horror game where the opponents mimic the gamers themselves. The mimics can copy the behavior and even the voice of teammates, making it quite challenging to discern who is who.

The previous milestone — one million copies — was surpassed in December 2025. Thus, it took seven months to accumulate another million.

Currently, MIMESIS is in early access, which it entered on October 27, 2025, on Steam. The full release date of the game is still unknown.
