Sales of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader have reached 2 million copies
The studio Owlcat Games announced the new achievement of the game on social media and the event feed for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader on Steam.

“This is a huge, significant milestone, for which we express our immense gratitude to our community. Without you, none of this would have been possible. The Emperor protects!” wrote Owlcat Games.
How the 2 million copies were distributed between the PC and console versions of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is officially unknown. However, according to Gamalytic, more than half of the sales were from Steam—around 1.3 million copies with a gross revenue on the platform of $42.7 million.
Here is what the key sales milestones for the game look like now:
- 500,000 copies — January 2024;
- 1 million copies — January 2025;
- 2 million copies — June 2026.
To recap, the release of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader took place in December 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, and later the game also made it to the Nintendo Switch 2.
