Sales of Black Myth: Wukong have exceeded 30 million copies
This number was mentioned by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China in a report dedicated to the achievements of young residents of the Middle Kingdom.

The organization did not specify exactly when Black Myth: Wukong surpassed the milestone of 30 million copies sold. However, it noted that almost half of the game's sales were directly in China.
Black Myth: Wukong was included in the report because the game's developers were considered young enough. As the organization noted, the average age of the employees at Game Science studio is just 32 years. By the way, the document also praised the authors of Wuthering Waves from Kuro Games, but their project's figures were not disclosed.
The last time Game Science disclosed sales was almost two years ago, shortly after the game's release. At that time, it boasted that within three days, Black Myth: Wukong had sold 10 million copies. In September 2025, analysts at Alinea Analytics reported 27 million copies sold.
