Grishakov: Meltopia has reached the second spot in the VK Play sales chart, with revenue of less than 20,000 rubles
There isn't much public information about how much games earn on VK Play. Some insight can be gleaned from the developers who publish games on the platform. Recently, Yevgeny Grishakov, the founder of Garden of Dreams studio, shared some of this information.
Meltopia
On his YouTube channel, Grishakov shared details about the adventure game Meltopia. According to him, a month after its release, the game sold 73 copies on VK Play and earned 18,527 rubles. Currently, it consistently generates around 3,000 rubles daily.
Grishakov claims these numbers were sufficient for Meltopia to secure the second spot on the VK Play "Top Sellers" chart as of June 3, right after Atomic Heart. However, he did not specify the time frame for this chart (whether it was for a day, a week, or another period).
It is noteworthy that this chart can appear differently for various VK Play users. This is because it can be sorted by three filters: game price, release date, and platform recommendations. Thus, it's possible that the games are initially sorted randomly. Therefore, Grishakov's statement about Meltopia being second might not be entirely accurate.

It should be noted that Meltopia was released on May 1, 2026, and is available on Steam in addition to VK Play. By the end of May, it was known that the Steam version of the game had surpassed 50,000 copies in sales, with its revenue currently estimated by Gamalytic at $187.8 thousand.
