BALL x PIT helped Devolver Digital triple its annual revenue from new games
The indie publisher Devolver Digital ended the year 2025 on a positive note. In a recent financial report, the company boasted about revenue growth — with new releases showing particularly strong results.

Highlights from the report:
- Last year, Devolver Digital earned €107.9 million, which is 3% more than it managed to earn in 2024;
- The gross profit of Devolver Digital increased by 10% to $33.1 million;
- For the first time since 2022, more than a third of Devolver Digital's revenue came from new games. They brought the company $37.9 million — a 218% increase compared to 2024;
- In total, Devolver Digital released 15 new games in 2025. One of the most notable releases was the blockbuster BALL x PIT, which sold more than a million copies in the first month and a half. The company is also pleased with the success of Monster Train 2, Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition, Look Outside, and Mycopunk;
- Meanwhile, Devolver Digital's revenue from games released before 2025 fell by 24% to $68.9 million;
- Devolver Digital sold over 17 million copies of various games on the Nintendo Switch 2;
- In 2026, Devolver Digital plans to release at least 13 games. Some of them have already been launched. For instance, Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, MINOS, and Reigns: The Witcher have already reached release. Looking broader over the next three years, the publisher has plans for more than 30 new games.
