The nationalization did not prevent the main legal entity of “Lesta Games” from increasing its revenue by the end of 2025
Last year was not the easiest for the group of companies "Lesta Games"—its former owner Malik Khatazhaev was found guilty of creating an extremist organization with Wargaming's head, Viktor Kislyi, and "Lesta Games" itself came under state control. Despite all this, its main legal entity managed to achieve revenue growth.

These details were shared by the newspaper "RBC," which studied the annual financial report of LLC "Lesta Games Agency."
Below are a few figures from the document:
- in 2025, the revenue of the legal entity exceeded 29 billion rubles, which is 17% more than in 2024;
- gross profit for the year increased by 15% to 16.8 billion rubles, and operating profit increased by 18% to 13.8 billion rubles;
- net profit fell by 9.2% to 10.1 billion rubles.
"RBC" noted that "Lesta Games" has another legal entity (LLC "Lesta"), but it has not yet disclosed its financial results for 2025. It is only known that in the previous year, its revenue was 5.9 billion rubles, and its net profit was 145 million rubles.
As explained by representatives of "Lesta Games" in a conversation with "RBC," the main legal entity managed to increase its revenue thanks to the success of its games—their audience grew for the first time in many years. Net profit could also have increased, but in 2025, the company lost its IT tax benefits and paid a sizeable income tax of 3.98 billion rubles, which ultimately led to a decline in the figure.
Recall, at the end of February, "Lesta Games" ranked 12th among the most expensive companies on the Russian internet according to Forbes. The publication valued the developer of "World of Warships" and "World of Tanks" at 1.6 billion dollars.
