CD Projekt's financial performance for the year 2025 showed growth in both earnings and profits, fueled by ongoing development in their Witcher and Cyberpunk series.

The company recorded sales revenue of 867 million PLN ($235.2 million), which represented a 9% rise compared to the previous year. This growth was largely driven by Cyberpunk, which saw a 12% sales increase compared to the prior year.

The success of Cyberpunk was enhanced by the release of the Cyberpunk Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, as well as its availability on PlayStation subscription services, leading to a significant boost in physical cartridge sales, thereby increasing the goods and materials revenue segment five times year-on-year.

Net profit increased by 33.7%, reaching 594 million PLN ($161.4 million), up from 444.2 million PLN ($120.2 million) in 2024.

CD Projekt allocated more than 513 million PLN ($140 million) toward upcoming projects, with a focus on The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2. The latter moved past its conceptual stage in April 2025 and started production.

Michał Nowakowski, Joint CEO, stated that CD Projekt Red Studio is working on a new intellectual property named Hadar.

"The development process is advancing swiftly, and the core aspects of this new IP are being solidified," Nowakowski said.

"We have distinct characteristics of this universe and have laid down key pillars that could serve as a base for the game and future products."

He also mentioned that the refinement of the IP is ongoing, with the team in the process of crafting design elements for the game.

"We are developing multiple prototypes and applying them within Unreal Engine, allowing for practical testing and validation of mechanics and gameplay components," he added.

The developer headcount increased from 707 in February 2025 to 933 by February 2026, with 499 developers on The Witcher 4, 149 on Cyberpunk 2, 71 on Sirius, and 26 on Hadar.

In 2025, CD Projekt marked significant sales achievements: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt sold over 60 million copies, Cyberpunk 2077 surpassed 35 million copies, and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty exceeded 10 million copies.

In December, CD Projekt transferred ownership of the GOG platform to co-founder Michał Kiciński for 90.7 million PLN ($25 million). This transaction was fully funded from external sources, and Kiciński remains the second-largest individual stakeholder in CD Projekt Red, holding 10% of the company's shares.
