The initial sales of the climbing simulator Cairn have exceeded 200,000 copies

Developers from the indie studio The Game Bakers shared the success of Cairn on social media. They did not disclose a breakdown of sales by platform but expressed their excitement over the high demand for their game.
A little earlier, The Game Bakers reported that the first 100,000 copies of Cairn were sold within just 24 hours of the climber simulator's release.
As a reminder, Cairn was released on January 29 on PC and PlayStation 5. The situation regarding the console version is still unclear, but there is some data available for the Steam version. According to the SteamDB service, Cairn has already become The Game Bakers' most popular game in terms of peak concurrent users on the platform. It managed to attract 14,996 concurrent Steam users, far surpassing the previous titles from the studio. To give a sense of scale, Haven was previously considered the record holder with a peak Steam concurrent player count of 702.
Cairn currently holds a "very positive" rating on Steam, with 93% of 4,000 reviews being favorable.
