As of 2026, Arc Raiders, an extraction shooter developed by Embark Studios, has reached sales of over 2.4 million this year alone.

Nexon, the parent company of Embark Studios, revealed to investors that the game has sold a total of 12.4 million copies worldwide. By the close of 2025, 10 million units had already been sold.

In January, the game reached a peak of 960,000 players online at the same time.

"The enthusiasm and high retention for Arc Raiders across major global markets are incredibly gratifying," stated Nexon's president and CEO, Lee Jeong-hun.

"The successful rollout in October, along with over 12.4 million units sold and the peak of 960,000 concurrent users, highlights the game's potential to evolve into a significant addition to Nexon's range of major franchises."

"Embark Studios has met the expectations of gamers worldwide, providing a novel and distinctive experience within a well-recognized genre. Nexon is focusing on horizontal growth by introducing new titles that expand and build large gaming communities across all primary platforms and markets, a strategy clearly supported by the success of Arc Raiders."

Patrick Söderlund, CEO and founder of Embark, remarked: "Reaching the milestone of 12.4 million units sold is significant, and our players were essential to this achievement. The Raiders community, with their ideas and passion, will continue to shape the game's future."

Meanwhile, the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund has divested its stake in Nexon to Ayar First Investment Company, as detailed in a recent document. This subsidiary now holds 88,548,900 shares and 11.7% voting rights in Nexon.

In addition, Ayar First has acquired the PIF's stakes in companies including Capcom, Koei Tecmo, Square Enix, and Bandai Namco.

Lee Jeong-hun previously declared that Arc Raiders marked Nexon's most triumphant global debut upon its release in October.
