Sales of Ghost of Yōtei reached 3.3 million copies
This was reported by Sony as part of their latest financial report.
The company indicated that the game reached 3.3 million copies sold by November 2, 2025. That is, within 32 days from its release.
It's challenging to determine how the initial sales of Ghost of Yōtei compare with its predecessor, Ghost of Tsushima. When the previous installment of the series reached the same sales volume is unclear. However, it is known that Ghost of Tsushima sold 2.4 million copies in the first three days, and four months later, it surpassed the 5 million copies mark.
The last time the developers from Sucker Punch studios shared data on Ghost of Tsushima was in September 2024 — four years after the game's release — when sales exceeded 13 million copies.
Ghost of Yōtei was released on October 2, 2025. The game is available exclusively on PlayStation 5.
