Krafton reports "record-high cumulative" results for the third quarter of 2025

Krafton has announced an all-time high in its cumulative metrics for the third quarter of 2025, attributing this success to enhanced intellectual property strength in India and its shift towards becoming an AI-driven organization, as detailed in their latest financial report.

Revenues saw a 21% increase from the previous year, reaching 870.6 billion KRW ($604.2 million), while operating income rose by 7.5% to 348.8 billion KRW ($241.9 million). This marked the first time the company's operating income surpassed KRW 1 trillion in a year-to-date calculation.

The firm reported robust outcomes across all sectors, including PC, mobile, and console platforms. PC platform revenue hit new quarterly highs, bolstered by a 29% increase from the previous year, largely due to the enduring popularity of PUBG: Battlegrounds.

Krafton credited its sustained momentum to partnerships with global K-pop icons like aespa and G-DRAGON, alongside French luxury car brand Bugatti, which elevated public interest and user engagement.

The mobile segment also exhibited "growth momentum," with the introduction of diverse content, such as a Transformers-themed mode and evolving X-Suit skins, contributing to its success. Battlegrounds Mobile India achieved record quarterly revenues through localized strategies like exclusive skins and expanded services tailored to the Indian market.

Looking forward, Krafton aims to further capitalize on its PUBG IP by delivering experiences that transcend gaming. They plan to continue collaborations and content sharing within the franchise to create synergies across various titles, while also evolving PUBG into its next phase, PUBG 2.0, with new modes and upgraded technology via Unreal Engine 5.

The company is also set to assume direct publishing of Real Cricket 24 following its acquisition of a majority stake in Nautilus Mobile in March.

Recently, Krafton revealed it is shifting towards becoming an "AI-first company," emphasizing AI as a key approach to problem-solving, with intentions to foster organizational change, enhance productivity, and drive corporate value growth over the mid to long term.
