According to Alinea, Battlefield 6 has achieved over 7 million in sales across PC and console platforms within five days

In just five days, Battlefield 6 has seen sales surpass seven million copies on all platforms, as revealed exclusively to GamesIndustry.biz.
Estimates from Alinea Analytics suggest the game has brought in $350 million in revenue, making it one of the top-performing premium game launches this year, trailing only EA Sports FC 26.
During the release period, FC 26 reached sales of 7.7 million units, while Monster Hunter Wilds and Borderlands 4 sold 6.2 million and 2.3 million units, respectively.
Split Fiction sold 1.3 million units, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 reached sales of 1.2 million.
Detailed sales figures show that more than half of Battlefield 6's copies, around 3.5 million, were sold on Steam, generating over $220 million in revenue.
PlayStation accounted for 23.7% of sales with over 1.5 million copies, with digital purchases on PS5 comprising 86%. Xbox sales made up 19.6%, totaling over 1.2 million units.
Regarding player distribution, Steam has over 3.8 million players, PlayStation accounts for a quarter with 1.8 million, and Xbox follows with 1.4 million users.
This data, shared by Video Game Insights to GI.biz, highlights significant audience overlap with other popular games.
Call of Duty has the most overlap at 87.7%, followed by Fortnite at 85.1%, and Grand Theft Auto 5: Legacy Edition at 80.5%.
The primary market for Battlefield 6 on Steam is the United States, contributing a third of sales. China holds 15% of the player base, while Japan accounts for 3%.
Released on October 10, Battlefield 6 quickly became the highest-played game in its franchise on Steam, attracting over 700,000 concurrent users shortly after launch according to reported numbers.
This achievement follows the recent success of the Battlefield 6 Open Beta, which previously held the record as the series' most popular release on the platform.
