Furnish Master sales reached 100,000 copies: statistics from the game developer

The decorator simulator Furnish Master has reached a significant milestone – the game has been purchased over 100,000 times in a year and a half since its early access release on Steam. To celebrate this achievement, its developer Alexander Blintzov also revealed some other statistics about the title.

  • Currently, Furnish Master is on the wishlist of an additional 229,400 Steam users.
  • 16.9% of gamers who purchased Furnish Master requested a refund. The main complaints include awkward controls, bugs, and the overall raw state of the game.
  • The gross revenue for Furnish Master was $1.15 million, but the developer received almost half of that. After deducting Steam’s share, taxes, and other expenses, he was left with $600,000.
  • The budget for Furnish Master reached $29,000, of which Blintzov spent $17,500 after the game’s release. It’s worth noting that when calculating the budget, the developer did not include the value of his personal time. If it were included, the total would rise to $129,000.
  • Over the past few months, the average playtime in Furnish Master has noticeably increased. As of February 2025, players spent an average of 3 hours and 32 minutes in the simulator; now it’s 4 hours and 1 minute.
  • Meanwhile, the median playtime has only increased by five minutes since then – it now stands at 1 hour and 19 minutes.

Blintzov is currently preparing Furnish Master for a full release. The plan is for the game to launch officially at the end of 2026, but the developer has not yet disclosed the exact date.
