Rocksteady Studios' profit fell by more than half at the end of 2024
The failure of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has negatively impacted the finances of Rocksteady Studios, according to the studio's report for the UK regulator for 2024. The document reveals a decline in key metrics.

Specifically, Rocksteady Studios reported that its annual profit fell by 57.3%, amounting to £1.64 million ($2.2 million).
The studio's revenue didn't drop as dramatically. It decreased by 14.1% to £32.6 million ($44 million). Although the report states that the entire amount came from the US and Canada, it's highly doubtful that Rocksteady Studios earned nothing in other countries. Most likely, this situation can be explained by the accounting processes at Warner Bros. Discovery — Rocksteady Studios' parent company, which is based in North America and handles transactions with developers.
Additionally, Rocksteady Studios noted in the report that as of December 31, 2024, it had 214 employees, down 17% from the end of 2023. Earlier, media outlets reported at least two waves of layoffs at the studio last year — in September and December.
