The Alters helped 11 bit studios increase revenue by 86% — and more from the company's semi-annual report
Last week, 11 bit studios reported its financial outcomes for the first half of 2025, revealing that The Alters, released towards the end of this period, accounted for 35.6% of the company's revenue.

Company-wide data:
- From January to June 2025, 11 bit studios generated 57.24 million PLN ($15.77 million), which is an increase of 86.09% compared to the first half of 2024;
- The majority of 11 bit studios' revenue came from the US — 78.42%. The top five markets also included the UK (13.13%), Hong Kong (2.93%), Japan (2.62%), and Poland (1.6%).
- The net profit amounted to 8.48 million PLN ($2.34 million). A year earlier, 11 bit studios reported a loss of 477.8 thousand PLN ($131.6 thousand).
Game data:
- According to 11 bit studios, the revenue increase was largely due to The Alters — a space survival game about clone adventures, released on June 13. By June 30, this game alone brought the company 20.4 million PLN ($5.62 million);
- The second-highest grossing game of the half-year was Frostpunk 2, which generated 13.17 million PLN ($3.6 million) from January to June 2025;
- The original Frostpunk earned 7.9 million PLN ($2.17 million) during the reporting period, a decrease of 32.2% from the previous year;
- This War of Mine generated 4.5 million PLN ($1.24 million) over six months, marking a 46.6% increase;
- Revenue from The Thaumaturge dropped by 21.7% to 4.36 million PLN ($1.2 million);
- 11 bit studios reported that the development of Frostpunk: 1886 is on schedule. Currently, 17 people are working on the game, with the team expected to grow to 25 by the end of the year. The project's release remains scheduled for 2027.
