Shift Up Report: Record Quarter and Stellar Blade Royalty Growth at 837.3%

  • The South Korean developers' operating profit for the quarter amounted to 68.2 billion won ($49.1 million). This is a 51.6% increase compared to the previous year.
  • Shift Up's net profit increased by 27.4% to 51.3 billion won ($36.9 million).
  • Shift Up's revenue surged by 72.4% compared to 2024, reaching 112.4 billion won ($81 million).
  • For the first time, Stellar Blade generated more than half of the studio's quarterly revenue. Over three months, royalties from the game's sales reached 65.7 billion won ($47.3 million), marking a year-over-year growth of 154.1% and a quarterly growth of 837.3%.
  • Goddess of Victory: Nikke contributed an additional 45.1 billion won ($32.5 million) to Shift Up. Revenue from the game increased by 17.3% compared to April-June 2024 and by 39.6% compared to January-March 2025. Much of this revenue increase was due to the release of the Chinese version of the game.
