Grow a Garden helped Roblox increase its revenue and active audience

The second quarter of 2025, spanning from April 1 to June 31, was extremely successful for Roblox. The platform reported that its metrics improved due to the "emergence of several viral projects."

Roblox did not disclose the names of the projects, but it is apparent that they include Grow a Garden, Steal a Brainrot, among several other new releases. According to the service RoMonitor Stats, the daily online presence of Grow a Garden alone regularly exceeds millions of users, with a peak of over 21.9 million concurrent users — this is the highest record in the history of the gaming industry.

By the end of the quarter, the average daily active audience across Roblox grew to 111.8 million people (+41%). The number of paying players also increased to 23.4 million (+42%).

In total, Roblox users spent 27.4 billion hours on the platform over three months (+58%).

As a result, Roblox's quarterly revenue reached 1.08 billion dollars (+21%), and total bookings even surpassed 1.43 billion dollars (+51%). Nevertheless, the platform's consolidated net loss increased to 279.8 million dollars (+35%).

At the time of writing this news, the financial report had almost no impact on Roblox's shares. However, the dynamics show that over the past year, their value increased by 200%.
