Take-Two Annual Report: Losses Reach $4.5 Billion, GTA VI Unlikely to Be Delayed Again
Take-Two Interactive shared its report for the 2025 fiscal year (April 2024 — March 2025). Its revenue increased, but significant losses were unavoidable. The company also shared new data on game sales and mentioned that another delay in GTA VI is unlikely.

- Mafia: The Old Country is doing well in pre-orders. The new Mafia, along with Borderlands 4, is among the top releases for Take-Two Interactive in the current fiscal year, which will end on March 31, 2026 (i.e., before the release of GTA VI).
- By March 31, 2026, Take-Two Interactive plans to release 13 games, and by March 31, 2028, 38 games.

- The report mentions that active development of GTA VI began in 2020. In a separate interview with IGN, the head of Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, said he is quite confident in the game’s May release. According to him, if the company officially announces a specific release date, it usually doesn’t change it.
- Zelnick also explained that the new tariffs in the US are unlikely to significantly impact Take-Two Interactive’s business.
- Due to the postponement of GTA VI from fall 2025 to May 26, 2026, the current fiscal year will not be as successful for Take-Two Interactive as anticipated. Nevertheless, the company forecasts revenue growth, expecting profits in the range of 5.95-6 billion dollars. According to Bloomberg, analysts hoped to see a forecast of 7.8 billion dollars.
