Saber Interactive has announced its intention to remove Evil Dead: The Game from digital retail platforms. This development was officially reported on the game's Steam page, where it is no longer available.
The company stated, "We have initiated the process of withdrawing the game from online stores." They assured players that those who already own the game will still have the ability to access it, as server support will continue.
The message also expressed gratitude: "We deeply appreciate our community, both long-standing fans and new players. Thank you for your support."
According to VGC, Reddit users observed it is no longer on the Epic Game Store and PlayStation Store, although it remains available on the Xbox Store for now.
Launched in 2022, Evil Dead: The Game, co-published by Boss Team Games, offers cooperative and player-versus-player modes. In September 2023, Saber Interactive declared the cancellation of the Nintendo Switch version and the cessation of new content development for other platforms. However, server support will persist for an unspecified period.
