KRAFTON reported a record quarter amid the successes of PUBG and inZOI

The South Korean company KRAFTON has released a new financial report. It announced that the first three months of 2025 were the best in its history in terms of revenue.

Main points from the report:

  • KRAFTON's quarterly revenue was 874.2 billion won (609 million dollars), representing a 31.3% increase compared to January-March 2024;
  • The company's operating profit rose by 47.3% to 457.3 billion won (319 million dollars). Net profit increased by a lesser margin — up 6.6% to 371.5 billion won (259 million dollars);
  • The main platform for KRAFTON remained mobile — mobile games generated 532.4 billion won (371 million dollars) for the company over three months, a 32.3% year-over-year growth;
  • PC games generated 323.5 billion won (225 million dollars) in revenue, up 32.8% from the first quarter of 2024. Revenue from console games rose by 14.2% to 13.1 billion won (9.2 million dollars);

  • The impressive results were largely due to PUBG. KRAFTON is currently working on three new franchise projects: the top-down tactical shooter PUBG: Blindspot, the extraction shooter Project Black Budget, and the console-focused battle royale Project Valor;
  • The life simulator inZOI also contributed by entering early access on Steam at the end of the quarter — March 28. According to KRAFTON, 95% of the copies sold during the debut week were outside of South Korea. It's worth noting that inZOI's weekly sales exceeded one million copies;
  • KRAFTON plans to aggressively strengthen its position in the Indian market, both by promoting its games in the country and through investments in local developers.
