PlayWay Annual Report: Over a Dozen New Partnerships and a 63.5% Increase in Profit
The Polish company PlayWay has reported its financial results for 2024, stating that the past year was very successful for its business.

- Compared to 2023, PlayWay's net revenue increased by 10.5% to 302.9 million PLN ($80.4 million).
- PlayWay's net profit was 206.5 million PLN ($54.8 million), which is 63.5% more than the previous year.
Revenue, profit, and other PlayWay metrics
- House Flipper was the top-grossing game in the company's portfolio for 2024. Throughout the year, it, along with all expansions, brought PlayWay 77.1 million PLN ($20.5 million). Compared to 2023, its revenue increased by 17%.
- The second place among the year's top game hits once again went to Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 and 2021. The revenue from these series' installments, including their DLCs, was 46.2 million PLN ($12.3 million). Year-over-year, this amount decreased by 32.8%.
- The top-grossing games of 2024 also included Crime Scene Cleaner ($5.2 million), Contraband Police ($4.6 million, -17.9%), Thief Simulator ($4.4 million, -27.6%), Cooking Simulator with DLC ($2.5 million, +44.8%), and UBOAT ($1.6 million, +179.7%).
- In a letter to investors, PlayWay CEO Krzysztof Kostowski shared that over the year, his company has entered into more than a dozen agreements with various studios. As part of these partnerships, PlayWay agreed to finance the development of their games and assist with promotion.
Separately, PlayWay's report noted the sales figures for some games on Steam from their release up to April 16, 2025. Sales on other platforms were not disclosed.
