Sales of Split Fiction have exceeded one million copies
The new cooperative adventure by Hazelight Studios is selling exponentially faster than the studio's previous games. Josef Fares' team announced that they sold one million copies of Split Fiction in just two days following the game's release.

For comparison, the 2018 debut of A Way Out reached the one-million-copy mark in about two weeks. It Takes Two, which was released in 2021, sold slower at launch, achieving one million copies over four weeks. Currently, sales of both games stand at 11 million copies and 23 million copies, respectively.
How Split Fiction's sales are distributed across platforms is unknown. However, according to SteamDB data, a significant portion of the game's audience is on Steam. At its peak, Split Fiction had 259 thousand concurrent players.
Split Fiction was released on March 6 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
