For comparison, the first game in the series had a slower start. It sold 500,000 copies within two days after release and crossed the million-copy threshold within a week. As of November 2024, the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance had sold 8 million copies.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. How sales have divided across platforms remains unknown.
It is worth noting that pre-orders for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II ranked second in the weekly chart of top-grossing products on Steam for the week of January 28 to February 4, trailing only the free-to-play game Counter-Strike 2 in revenue. On release day, peak concurrent players for the medieval RPG on Steam exceeded 159,000, and it is possible the game may soon beat this record—at the time of writing, concurrent players for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II stand at 155,300 and are increasing.
