Konami updates its projections following a 38% profit surge, reaching $560 million
For the nine months ending December 31, 2024, Konami unveiled a 22% surge in revenue, reaching ¥310.8 billion, alongside a 38% rise in profits, totaling ¥87.1 billion.

The remake of Silent Hill 2 notably influenced their recent quarter, with over two million copies sold following its October 2024 release.
Additionally, sales were driven by releases like Professional Baseball Spirits 2024-2025, eBaseball MLB Pro Spirit, and the latest installment of eFootball, which has surpassed 800 million downloads globally across multiple platforms.
Moving forward, Konami shared its commitment to ongoing projects, including the anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Regarding the Silent Hill series, the company intends to continue creating "completely new titles," with updates to be shared in its Silent Hill Transmission showcase.
The Amusement segment also contributed, with revenue seeing a 3.6% increase to ¥16.9 billion ($108.7 million), and business profit experiencing a 16.2% rise to ¥2.5 billion ($16 million).
In light of these results, Konami has updated its full-year projections to reflect the positive trends.
The firm's expected revenue for the entire year was initially projected at ¥380 billion ($2.4 billion) but has been adjusted to ¥412 billion ($2.6 billion), marking a 14.3% increase.
Business profit projections rose by 22.4%, from ¥92.5 billion ($595 billion) to ¥108 billion ($694.6 billion), while operating profit forecasts increased by 24.6%, from ¥84.5 billion ($543.5 billion) to ¥100 billion ($694.6 billion).
