One of the founders of CD PROJEKT sold company shares worth 12 million dollars

The co-chairman of the supervisory board and co-founder of CD PROJEKT, Marcin Iwiński, recently sold 223,520 shares of the Polish company. This is stated in CD PROJEKT's report.

According to the document, Iwiński sold the shares at a price of 216.24 PLN ($53.65) each. In doing so, he earned 48.3 million PLN ($11.98 million) from the sale.

As stated by CD PROJEKT, Iwiński sold the shares "for personal investment reasons." Nonetheless, he remains a major shareholder of the company, and his decision does not indicate a change in his opinion regarding CD PROJEKT's development strategy.

As of the end of November 2024, Iwiński owned 12.87 million shares (12.89%) of CD PROJEKT.

At the time of writing, a CD PROJEKT share is trading at 212.7 PLN ($52.78). Although this is slightly lower than when Iwiński made his sale, overall, CD PROJEKT shares have risen in value recently. Since January 1, 2025, their value has increased by 10%, and since January 24, 2024, they have surged by 101.6%.
