Bohemia Interactive has reported a 34% increase in revenue, reaching $60.8 million for the current fiscal year.
The company's co-founder and CFO, Slavomír Pavlíček, noted, "the year 2024 exceeded all our expectations," highlighting the success of the DayZ expansion, Frostline, as a primary factor for this growth.
New releases this year include Arma Reforger on the PlayStation 5, Vigor for PC, and Ylands available on Nintendo Switch. Arma 3 was also enriched with two more downloadable content (DLC) offerings.
A significant portion of Bohemia's sales, accounting for 99% of "4.85 million copies of games and DLC," originated from international markets, spanning platforms such as PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. The company chose not to provide specific breakouts of these figures.
Sales in the United States made up 42% of the total, with the United Kingdom and Germany contributing 7% and 6%, respectively. Notable growth was also observed in markets like Ukraine and Brazil.
Pavlíček stated, "The latest expansion DayZ Frostline, which has won the hearts of gamers around the world, has been a great success."
He added that "a major success was the military simulator Arma Reforger on PlayStation 5, with no current rivals in its category. Furthermore, player numbers are rising on all platforms as we move into 2025."
Arma 2 has sold over 47 million units in the span of 15 years.
