Financial highlights

  • According to its Q3 report, PulluP Entertainment generated €100.8 million in revenue during the three-month period, up 132.7% year-over-year.
  • This is the second-best quarter in the company’s history, behind only the previous Q2 FY24/25 when sales surpassed €200 million.
  • Revenue from new game releases increased 7.7x year-over-year, from €8.9 million to €68.5 million. Back-catalog sales increased 4.5% to €30.8 million.
  • “Players continue to overwhelmingly favor experiences with uncompromising gameplay, which benefited our games portfolio over the quarter,” deputy CEO Geoffroy Sardin said in a statement.

Game sales and other stats

  • As in the previous quarter, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine was the main revenue driver. Sardin called the game’s performance “exceptional,” reporting that it had reached 6 million unique players as of January 16.
  • It is unclear how revenue is split between Saber Interactive (developer) and PulluP/Focus Entertainment (publisher). However, Space Marine 2’s global success is a win for all parties involved. For example, Warhammer owner Games Workshop posted a 2.5x increase in licensing revenue for the six-month period ended December 1, 2024.
  • Speaking of other new releases, Train Sim World 5 saw “record-breaking sales” (exact figures remain undisclosed), continuing to outperform previous installments in the series. “Overall, the Train Sim World franchise is progressing compared to previous years, reflecting the strength of its Live model,” PulluP said.
  • The company also released three indie games in Q3: Metal Slug Tactics, Drova, and Void Crew. They all have collectively exceeded expectations.
  • Back catalog’s growth was driven by the sustained performance of PulluP’s portfolio of live games: SnowRunner, Insurgency: Sandstorm, and Expeditions: A MudRunner Game. Other revenue drivers were the Plague Tale franchise and Dotemu’s titles like TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge.
