PulluP Entertainment Report: Second Best Quarter in History, Space Marine 2 Audience Exceeds 6 Million People
The parent company of the publisher Focus Entertainment Publishing reported on the quarter that lasted from October to December 2024. PulluP Entertainment boasted a revenue increase amidst the successes of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Drova, and other games.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
- During the quarter, PulluP Entertainment earned €100.8 million — 132.8% more than the previous year. This is the second-largest result in the company's history. Revenue was higher only at the end of July-September 2024, when it amounted to €200.1 million.
- Revenue from new releases jumped 7.7 times to €68.5 million.
- Revenue from back-catalog games increased by 4.5% to €30.8 million.
- A significant contributor to the revenue growth was Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. As of January 16, the action game had surpassed 6 million players.
- Train Sim World 5 was also among the most successful games of the quarter. Its figures were not disclosed.
- Metal Slug Tactics, Drova, and Void Crew started better than PulluP Entertainment expected.
- NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound, announced at The Game Awards 2024, intrigued the audience. It became one of the most anticipated games in Dotemu's publishing history. The release is planned for summer 2025 for PC, Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
