PlayWay Report: Revenue for the first nine months of 2024 reached $54.5 million, with a quarter of that amount from House Flipper
The Polish publisher PlayWay released its financial report for January-September 2024. The company announced that House Flipper remains its main hit even six years after its release.
House Flipper — Pets
- PlayWay's net revenue for nine months reached 222.7 million PLN (54.5 million USD). Compared to the previous year, it grew by 15.1%. Of this amount, 73.5 million PLN (18 million USD) was earned in just the third quarter of 2024, spanning from July to September.
- PlayWay's net profit increased by 46.4% to 158.7 million PLN (38.6 million USD).
- House Flipper generated 23.7% of the company's revenue — 52.7 million PLN (12.9 million USD). This figure includes the game's total income and all its DLCs. Compared to 2023, the revenue from House Flipper grew by 35.3%. The report does not specify how much House Flipper 2 earned.
- An additional 15.9% of the company's revenue came from Car Mechanic Simulator 18, 21, and all DLCs for these series installments. This amounted to 35.3 million PLN (8.6 million USD). Their income decreased by 37.3% compared to the previous year.
- Also, a significant share of PlayWay's revenue was from games such as Contraband Police (6.2%), Thief Simulator (5.8%), Crime Scene Cleaner (5%), and Cooking Simulator (2.4%).
- Notably, Crime Scene Cleaner was released on August 14, 2024 — a month and a half before PlayWay's reporting period ended. It was recently revealed that the game sold over 500,000 copies.

Additionally, PlayWay CEO Krzysztof Kostowski shared new sales data for several company games on social network X as of December 1, 2024:
- PC version of House Flipper 2 — 533,000 copies;
- Uboat — 857,000 copies;
- Contraband Police — 1.043 million copies.
