CD Projekt has set an ambitious goal—to achieve nearly a billion dollars in net profit over four years
The CD Projekt Board of Directors has put forward a series of resolutions for consideration at the upcoming shareholders' meeting. One of these resolutions is directly related to the company's revenues.
The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine
The management team at CD Projekt has set a new goal for the 2025-2028 fiscal years (from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2028). Over this four-year period, the company plans to achieve a net profit of 4 billion zlotys ($996.4 million).
The resolution is expected to be adopted at the extraordinary shareholders' meeting on November 28.
The board of directors described the goal as ambitious and stressed that its achievement would depend on the effectiveness of internal project implementations, potentially increasing the company's value on the stock market.
The success of CD Projekt will largely hinge on currently developing titles. In the latest financial report, the company noted that the next game in The Witcher franchise is soon to enter full production, and the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, codenamed Project Orion, is preparing for pre-production.
The fulfillment of these conditions is tied to bonuses within the incentive program for members of the CD Projekt Group's management board. The board includes two CEOs, Michał Nowakowski and Adam Badowski, Strategy Director Adam Kiciński, CFO Piotr Nielubowicz, and several other CDP executives.
