Sales of Metaphor: ReFantazio have exceeded one million copies
Today, October 11, saw the release of Metaphor: ReFantazio on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox—a new RPG from the creators of Persona. The launch of the project has been extremely successful.

Atlus announced that Metaphor: ReFantazio has already sold over a million copies. Apparently, this has made the new release the fastest-selling game in Atlus's history. Previously, that title was held by Persona 3 Reload, which was purchased a million times in its debut week.
Thanks to such sales, Metaphor: ReFantazio has shown impressive online numbers on Steam. At the time of writing, 39,057 users are playing it simultaneously on the platform. In terms of Steam online presence, Metaphor: ReFantazio has already surpassed almost all Atlus games, trailing only Persona 3 Reload (45,002 users). It is possible that by the evening or over the weekend, it might break the record.
