Shares of Bloober Team rose following the release of the Silent Hill 2 remake
The remake of Silent Hill 2 helped increase the stock value of Bloober Team. By midday on October 8, the price of shares in the Polish studio rose to 25.3 PLN (6.45 USD) each—an increase of 12.4% compared to the evening of Friday, October 4.

As noted by the Bankier portal, on Monday morning, the increase reached 22.8%, but then the stock value partially rolled back. As a result, Bloober Team's market capitalization amounted to 484.66 million PLN (123.48 million USD).

The full release of the Silent Hill 2 remake on PC and PlayStation 5 took place on October 8, but owners of the deluxe editions got access to the game two days earlier. Gamers received the title very warmly. At the time of writing, the Steam rating of the remake was marked as "overwhelmingly positive," with 96% of reviewers praising it. Players highlighted Bloober Team's faithfulness to the original, improved gameplay, dark atmosphere, and high-quality graphics. Critics were also favorable, giving it a score of 86-87 out of 100 on Metacritic, depending on the platform.
The peak online count for the Silent Hill 2 remake on Steam currently stands at 14.9 thousand players. This is relatively low, but it's expected to rise by the evening. Nonetheless, the new game is already the second most popular Bloober Team game on Steam. Only Layers of Fear boasts a higher number of concurrent players—145.3 thousand.
