CD PROJEKT Report: Cyberpunk 2077 earned $66.8 million in six months, company profit increased by 88%
The Polish conglomerate CD PROJEKT has reported its financial results for the first six months of 2024. The half-year period was extremely successful for the company.

- CD PROJEKT reported that its half-year revenue grew by 31% compared to 2023, reaching 424.8 million złoty ($110 million).
- The net profit increased by 88% to 170 million złoty ($44 million).
- CD PROJEKT RED was responsible for the majority of the revenue — 344.9 million złoty ($89.5 million). GOG contributed an additional 87.6 million złoty ($22.7 million).
- Over the half-year, Cyberpunk 2077 along with the Phantom Liberty expansion brought CD PROJEKT 257.6 million złoty ($66.8 million), which is 80.7% more than the previous year.
- The Witcher series games, including expansions, generated 61.3 million złoty ($15.9 million). Revenue from them fell by 21.2%.
- CD PROJEKT earned 70% of its revenue in North America. Other major markets included Europe (19.2%), Asia (6.1%), Australia (0.9%), and South America (0.5%). The domestic market (Poland) accounted for 3.2% of the revenue.
- CD PROJEKT's financial reserves in the form of cash, bank deposits, and bonds increased by 4% to 1.36 billion złoty ($354 million). This increase occurred even after the group spent 100 million złoty ($25.9 million) on dividends and allocated over 150 million złoty ($38.9 million) to new projects.
- As of the end of June, CD PROJEKT employed 1,134 staff members.
