Sales of Mortal Kombat 1 have exceeded 4 million copies
Warner Bros. Discovery and NetherRealm Studios announced that Mortal Kombat 1 has sold over 4 million copies.

The companies revealed the sales figures for the fighting game in a press release dedicated to Cyrax — one of the new characters in the upcoming story expansion Khaos Reigns. They did not specify exactly when Mortal Kombat 1 surpassed the new million milestone.
Mortal Kombat 1 was released on September 19, 2023, on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. In November, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that the game's sales had reached 3 million copies. The release of the Khaos Reigns expansion is scheduled for September 24, 2024.
